Sunshine Mills, Inc. has expanded its recall of 15 brands of pet foods made with corn which included high levels of Aflatoxin.

Aflatoxin is a mold by-product from the growth of Aspergillus flavus and can be harmful to pets if consumed.

Pets experiencing aflatoxin toxicity may show symptoms of illness including vomiting, yellowish tint to the eyes or gums, diarrhea, reluctance to eat combined with sluggishness or lethargy, and even death.

Pets experiencing these symptoms after consuming recalled products should be examined by a veterinarian.

The recalled products were distributed throughout the United States:

Consumers who purchased the recalled items should immediately discontinue use and return to place of purchase for a full refund.
